Vicky has lived in Elgin all her life. For the last 10 years balancing family life and the successful running of Oakwood Cookery School has taken much of her time. In joining the Board she wants to see a variety of activities for the Community at the centre.

First associated with the Moray Sports Foundation during the Capital Fundraising program. Vicky volunteered her time and building for fundraising events. When we opened (July 2019), we regularly see her in the MSC Gym and witness her enthusiasm as she strives for new personal bests in her workouts.

The continuing developments planned at the centre are of most interest to Vicky. Geographically Moray has long suffered from facilities being in difficult to reach areas or the requirement for travel across the Region (or further afield) to participate in activities. The aspiration of having facilities for children and adults in one location will assist families to have more together time in a ‘One-stop shop’.
